i bet most people have thought of saying things and expect a certain reply.
for instance, say, "aye kelvin, nice ass!"
and i expect him to say "kao peh la, mai gay la!"

ya...that sorta thing. but i just say it for fun anyway.
(the above was just an example.)
some people say such things to prove a point, or make a shift in the conversation, or to dig for a compliment, the list goes on.

some things you say...not knowing what the reply will be.
you have no clue what the person will answer.
im not talking about asking questions like "have you eaten?"
not that sorta thing.

but like making a remark or passing a commet.

does anyone know what im talking about?

im getting lost here myself.

but ya. i was talking to an old friend.
and she's not good conversation unless you know her reasonably well.
in any case...things i say often end up in the conversation coming close to breaking down or almost turning into an argument.

ya...im still confusing myself.
anyway...what the hell.
i just wanted to say that to make myself feel better.
