.
TO LEAD, TO EXCEL, TO OVERCOME
there isnt a smile on my face.
but at least im not sad or anything.
First 4days was ok.
was pretty depressed on the first day, but that was because i wasnt used to the place.
so far we visited Tuas Naval Base, Paya Lebar Air Base, then had lotsa lotsa lectures.
it was painfully irritating to try and stay awake during 5hour long lectures.
then again...you learn alot in OCS.
really really alot. history, politics, civil-military relations, safety regulations...it's like school.
in any case, i got 3 weeks confinement, which my OC conveniently calls "weekend training".
but he's a nice guy. people at OCS are generally nice, save for a couple of sirs who are morons.
got field camp next week. Leadership field camp they call it. they say it's like sit-test and we sleep in training shack.
so shouldnt be too bad. 3 days 2 nights.
oh...Tango Wing is a support arms wing. which means at least 2 platoons worth of people (there are 3 platoons in OCS Wings) will be posted out to unit for training during Professional term, which is the last half of officer cadet training.
i have a feeling i'll go armour cos SAF is expanding it's armour strength.
which also explains why so many pple are posted to armour.
so high chance i'll meet someone i know in unit training.
anyway, i was in Charlie during BMT, then now im in Tango wing.
C then T. haha....CT are my initials. i realised that when i was damn bored in lecture.
lame.
my buddy is a pilot, so he'll be posted out after tri-service term (TST is 1 month).
after that i will get a new buddy. new room. new section.
for now...he's a nice guy and we get along well.
