shit. wanted to put up the Artillery insignia but couldnt download it.
as of next week, i will be reporting to Khatib camp for my training. it's much nearer, which is good. i'm quite happy that im going to arty. it's suppose to be a good thing, like when people usually go "wah, lucky bastard" when they know anyone's going to arty. life there is supposedly quite slack. but i somehoe dun have a good feeling about it.
they want us to bring scientific calculators cos we need to calculate tangents and the projectile motion and all that shit. shit.
i got quite a few friends going to arty as well. Andrew would be one of them.
i'll be flying to brunei next week. all the cadets not going to infantry will be flying to brunei next sunday. SOCJOT (Support arms Officer Course Jungle Orientation Training), is a 10day navigation thing. i dun really like it, but it's suppose to be not tough. so we'll find out.
my buddy was posted to school of logistics. he's gonna be a logs officer. asshole. slack life. training phase is already 8-5.
yup... leaving Tango Wing really was heart wrenching. it was a nice place. i loved it there. and the people...wow. i dun think i could meet better people elsewhere.
darn.
we had a 26km finale march and a hilltop parade ceremony. at 6.30am, after 23km of marching, no sleep, and standing in the freezing cold of the morning, they decided to give us our third cadet bar. it was dumb if you ask me. but the experience was worth it.
yup...i'l be going back to NY later to watch the juniors' testimonial match. it had better be worth my time. trys galore like our testimonial match would be ideal.
