Late Nights & Dog Fights

if you havent yet realised, my titles arent always relevent to my blog entries.


met Kel and Mo today after such a long time.
right now, the Thailand trip doesnt seem so dreadful.
especially after the realisation that kel has been at Wallaby for 5-6 weeks.
for me, 2weeks is really nothing much.
plus, i also learnt that what i do at thailand will not be like previous local exercises, where im given task that im not familiar with and can't perform properly.


it was such a relief.




seperate note altogether.
i just met an old friend who just came back from Perth (hopefully for good).
good to see her again, but that's not what i really wanna talk about.
what i wanted to say is that it feels good sometimes (if not all the time), knowing that who you go out with doesnt have another appointment after meeting you.
(i.e. your friend doesnt have to meet other people after meeting you for a movie or sumthing.)


i think that it just makes you feel important.
more focused on, given more attention.
not just a filler between lunch and dinner dates.
not just a "snack-buddy", if you know what i mean.
doesnt it?


in light of that, i think that this army life sucks because it makes me try to pack people into every pocket of my time.
i dont treat people as "fillers" but very often it seems like my appointments are so nicely scheduled that i appear to be allocating time slots so as to accomodate and effectively maximise my time.
trying to meet as many people as time permits.


i wish i didnt have to do that.
i wish i had the luxury of time to say "hey, how about coffee this weekend?" knowing that i could spend the entire day having coffee and chilling out.
TIME IS A LUXURY.


im going for prata now with daddy and my lil' sis.
mum's in Mutt-land for the weekend.
