.
Revin it up
i got myself a new phone, and im trying to convince myself i need it.
but really, my previous phone was dying and i wanted a change anyway.
i feel compelled to talk about thailand.
training there wasnt as hellish as i thought it'd be.
but for the R&R part, it's a boring place when you go with the military.
they restrict movement and they take you to crappy places.
on a whole, i give my maiden trip to thailand 5stars out of 10.
i wouldnt mind going there on vacation though.
probably to a beach resort or sumthing.
anyone game for that, let me know.
JY let me drive again yesterday.
outstanding stuff man.
it was damn funny when i tried to move off initially without releasing the hand brake.
=)
at the end of Mr Lim's memorial yesterday (which felt suspiciously like a gathering), as we were walking up to the stage to place the flowers, JY said that he may surpass (Mr Lim) in many things in life, but one thing he can never beat him in is the number of people at his funeral.
i tried to reason that a bulk of the numbers at the memorial was due to the fact that he was a teacher. (collegues, students, ex-students....you get the drift)
but i knew at the back of my mind that it would take more than a teacher or any good man to bring forth a crowd in the likes of yesterday.
it would have taken an extraordinary man.
for reason's beyond our comprehension, Mr & Mrs Lim have left this world so abruptly.
i believe that the Father has called them both home where greater works can be realised through them.
Mr & Mrs Lim, may you rest in peace.
