Wanning Moon

"Someday We'll Know"
the first time i heard it was in '98 when New Radicals first did it.
excellent. i loved it.

later, Mandy Moore and Jonathan Foreman did it.
pretty good duet cover.

the lyrics never really meant much to me.
but it's weird how the song follows me like my shadow.
it's been years.
when im terribly depressed, "90miles outside Chicago, can't stop driving, i dont know why".
any kinda physical pain or hardship, "who holds the stars up in the sky, is true love just once in a lifetime"
i wouldnt call it my sad song.
i dont have a sad song.
im no manic depresser.

i dont sing songs to make myself sadder, unlike some people i know.
neither do i play songs to make me happier.
it's just weird how "Someday We'll Know" is sad when it comes from inside me, but when i heard EIC (it's a local band that's not bad but i dont like them cos Electrico rocks more) play at Wala's that night, Someday We'll Know sounded so uplifting.
or even when i first heard it on 98.7 so many years so.
it's like the tunes displace and replace my sorrow.

weird aint it.
i blame language for not allowing me to fully express my feelings.
but like i said.
im not in manic depression.
