Windows To The Soul


you see, i hung out with this girl some days ago, and she's got nice big eyes. all the better to look at. i've got relatively small eyes, admittedly not so-small-you-can't-see-them-when-i-smile, but still, ya know, rather small.


this girl i was talking about, she can get really animated sometimes, and it's mildly cute. so full of expressions, so full of things you can do with your eyes. having fun with expressions had never been more enjoyable. it never occured to me (though now it's plainly obvious) how easy it is to display your emotions through your eyes - the windows to your soul. talking just becomes redundant when you're a master of visual conversation.


so like i was saying, i've got small eyes, and it's hard to use them as tools of expression, which is why i believe that i'm more fond of words. anyhow, i guess it's also the case that people with smaller eyes manage to duck under the radar - be less susceptible to the prying eyes of others. it becomes much easier to mask feelings and to protect yourself from emotional vulnerability.


so it kinda does even out doesn't it? Miss Big-Eyed vs. Mr Small-Eyes.
maybe they should do a personality test on people with different eye sizes. results could be astonishing. and hey, i may be right.
